Hunting Knife No. 2519 stands out through its rich, warm material combination and strong visual harmony.

The 140 mm blade is crafted from VCV 150 carbon tool steel, hardened to 58 HRC and finished with a bronzed surface treatment that gives the steel a darker, more distinctive appearance. Rather than looking purely technical, the blade carries a more mature, traditional character that pairs naturally with wood and brass.

The handle is made from Zebrano wood, known for its expressive striped grain and strong contrast between lighter and darker tones. Brass rivets add another warm element to the composition, creating a balanced transition between the bronzed blade and the natural wood.

With an overall length of 260 mm, a 38 mm wide blade, and a weight of 291 g, the knife feels compact but substantial. Its proportions make it well suited to hunting, camping, bushcraft, and general outdoor use while still giving it enough presence to appeal strongly as a collector’s piece.

Each knife is individually made and finished by hand, allowing the grain of the Zebrano, the tone of the bronzed steel, and small workshop details to give serial number 2519 its own unique identity.

The knife is paired with a custom handcrafted sheath made from dyed cowhide box leather, completing the traditional presentation and providing secure protection during storage or transport.

What makes this piece particularly memorable is not one single element, but the way the materials work together — darkened steel, striped exotic wood, warm brass, and leather. The result is a hunting knife that feels rugged enough for the outdoors yet refined enough to stand proudly in a collection.

Supplied with a certificate of authenticity. Regular application of suitable blade oil is recommended to protect the carbon steel and preserve its appearance over time.

Frequently asked questions

Are your products made of stainless steel?

Some of our knives are made of stainless steel, while others are made of carbon steel, which requires a little more care. If you have a carbon steel knife, always clean it, dry it and, if possible, coat it with a neutral oil to prevent corrosion.
