Bowie Knife No. 2511 is a strong outdoor piece with a classic silhouette and a distinctly individual character.

The 180 mm blade is crafted from VCV 150 tool steel, hardened to 58 HRC and finished with an etched surface that gives the steel a deeper, more textured appearance. At 41 mm wide and 4 mm thick, the blade has the solid proportions expected from a Bowie-style knife while remaining well balanced for practical outdoor use.

The handle is made from natural Zebrano wood, immediately recognizable by its bold striped grain and contrasting tones. No two pieces of this wood look exactly alike, giving the knife a visual identity that feels both exotic and refined. Stainless-steel rivets complement the handle with a clean, understated detail.

With an overall length of 320 mm and a weight of 388 g, the knife sits in a particularly versatile range — substantial enough to feel serious in the hand, yet lighter and more agile than many larger Bowie models.

Each piece is individually shaped and finished by hand, ensuring that serial number 2511 carries its own combination of blade texture, wood grain, and workshop detail.

The knife is paired with a custom handcrafted sheath made from dyed cowhide box leather, adding both protection and a traditional finishing touch to the complete set.

Designed for hunting, camping, bushcraft, outdoor use, and collecting, this Bowie knife is equally suited to practical field use or display. Its combination of etched steel and expressive Zebrano wood makes it especially appealing to collectors and enthusiasts who prefer natural materials with strong visual personality.

Supplied with a certificate of authenticity. Regular application of suitable blade oil is recommended to protect the steel and preserve its appearance over time.

Frequently asked questions

Are your products made of stainless steel?

Some of our knives are made of stainless steel, while others are made of carbon steel, which requires a little more care. If you have a carbon steel knife, always clean it, dry it and, if possible, coat it with a neutral oil to prevent corrosion.
