Long Hunting Dagger No. 2516 stands out through proportion. Its narrow 240 mm blade creates a distinctly elongated silhouette that feels more refined and deliberate than a conventional hunting knife.

Crafted from VCV 150 carbon tool steel and hardened to 58 HRC, the 4 mm thick blade combines strength with a clean, purposeful shape. The brushed finish keeps the appearance understated and allows the form of the blade itself to become the central visual element.

The handle is made from dyed beech wood and secured with brass rivets, adding warmth and a traditional workshop character to the long steel profile. The contrast between the natural wood and brass details gives the knife an elegant, almost classic feel without losing its outdoor identity.

With an overall length of 370 mm and a weight of 304 g, the dagger has impressive reach while remaining relatively light for its size. This gives the piece a noticeably different character from broader, heavier hunting blades and makes it especially appealing to collectors who value distinctive proportions.

The knife is paired with a custom handcrafted sheath made from dyed cowhide box leather, carefully fitted to the long blade and designed to complete the traditional presentation.

Suitable for collecting, hunting, camping, bushcraft, and outdoor use, this piece is as much about visual presence as it is about functionality. Serial number 2516 represents a unique knife with its own workshop identity, shaped and finished individually rather than produced as part of a uniform series.

Supplied with a certificate of authenticity. Regular application of suitable blade oil is recommended to protect the carbon steel and preserve its appearance over time.

Frequently asked questions

Are your products made of stainless steel?

Some of our knives are made of stainless steel, while others are made of carbon steel, which requires a little more care. If you have a carbon steel knife, always clean it, dry it and, if possible, coat it with a neutral oil to prevent corrosion.
