Product No.: 21
Some knives are defined by their blade. Others by their craftsmanship. This one is defined just as much by the story carried in its wood.
Hunting Knife No. 2505 features olive wood approximately 180 years old, originating from Slovenian Istria — a material shaped by decades of sun, wind, and Mediterranean landscape long before it became part of this knife. Its rich grain, natural movement, and mature character give the handle an appearance that simply cannot be recreated with ordinary modern timber.
The knife itself has an impressive presence. With an overall length of 320 mm and a broad 205 mm blade, it feels substantial without becoming oversized. The 48 mm wide, 4 mm thick blade is crafted from VCV 150 tool steel, hardened to 58 HRC and finished with a clean brushed surface that allows the shape and proportions of the blade to remain the visual focus.
Brass rivets provide a warm transition between steel and olive wood, reinforcing the traditional character of the piece while complementing the golden and earthy tones naturally present in the handle.
The story continues into the sheath. Rather than treating it simply as protection for the blade, the handcrafted dyed cowhide leather sheath incorporates matching 180-year-old olive wood details, visually connecting the knife and sheath into one complete composition. The result feels less like two separate objects and more like a deliberately created set.
Designed for hunting, outdoor use, bushcraft, collecting, and for those who appreciate materials with genuine provenance, this knife carries an unusually strong sense of place. The combination of Slovenian Istrian olive wood, carbon-rich tool steel, brass, and traditional leatherwork gives it a character that feels both rugged and refined.
Serial number 2505 represents a genuinely unique piece — not only because it was individually made and finished by hand, but because the material itself has a history that cannot be duplicated.
It is a knife for someone who wants more than equipment: a functional outdoor piece, a collector’s object, and a fragment of Slovenian Istria transformed into something made to last.
Supplied with a certificate of authenticity. Regular application of suitable blade oil is recommended to preserve and protect the steel over time.

Some of our knives are made of stainless steel, while others are made of carbon steel, which requires a little more care. If you have a carbon steel knife, always clean it, dry it and, if possible, coat it with a neutral oil to prevent corrosion.
