Classic Bowie Knife No. 2525 is a study in proportion — long enough to carry real presence, yet refined enough to feel balanced rather than oversized.

Its 195 mm blade is crafted from VCV 150 carbon tool steel, hardened to 58 HRC and finished with a clean brushed surface. At 36 mm wide and 4 mm thick, the blade is noticeably slimmer than many larger Bowie models, giving the knife a more elegant profile and a smoother visual flow from tip to handle.

The handle is made from dyed ash wood, chosen for its straight, natural grain and warm, understated appearance. Brass rivets introduce a classic metallic accent, adding just enough detail to complement the wood without distracting from the overall simplicity of the design.

With an overall length of 320 mm and a weight of 332 g, the knife feels substantial but not excessive. The result is a Bowie that offers a strong presence in the hand while remaining easier to control and more versatile than heavier, broader designs.

Each piece is individually shaped and finished by hand, so subtle variations in wood tone, grain, and final surface detail give serial number 2525 its own distinct identity.

The knife is paired with a custom handcrafted sheath made from dyed cowhide box leather, carefully fitted to protect the blade and complete the traditional outdoor presentation.

Designed for hunting, camping, bushcraft, outdoor use, and collecting, this Bowie is especially suited to those who appreciate classic knife design without unnecessary bulk. It carries the spirit of a traditional field knife, but with a cleaner, more refined character that makes it equally attractive as a collector’s piece or premium gift.

Supplied with a certificate of authenticity. Regular application of suitable blade oil is recommended to protect the carbon steel and preserve its appearance over time.

Frequently asked questions

Are your products made of stainless steel?

Some of our knives are made of stainless steel, while others are made of carbon steel, which requires a little more care. If you have a carbon steel knife, always clean it, dry it and, if possible, coat it with a neutral oil to prevent corrosion.
