Custom Hunting Knife No. 2526 takes a different path from traditional hunting knives by pairing a classic steel blade with an unconventional Plexiglas handle.
The result is a piece that feels familiar in form but noticeably different in character.
Its 115 mm blade is crafted from VCV 150 tool steel, hardened to 58 HRC and finished with a clean brushed surface. With a 4 mm thickness and a relatively narrow 26 mm profile, the blade remains compact and controlled while still offering the solid feel expected from a serious outdoor knife.
The handle is where this piece truly separates itself from the rest of the collection. Instead of natural wood or horn, it uses Plexiglas, giving the knife a more modern, technical, and custom-made appearance. Brass rivets introduce a warm contrast and prevent the design from feeling overly industrial.
At 230 mm overall and 234 g, the knife has a reassuringly substantial feel despite its compact dimensions. It is easy to handle, visually distinctive, and particularly appealing to collectors who prefer less conventional material combinations.
Each piece is individually made and finished by hand, meaning that serial number 2526 carries its own small variations and workshop identity rather than the uniformity of mass production.
The knife is paired with a custom handcrafted sheath made from dyed cowhide box leather, creating an interesting contrast between the modern handle material and traditional leatherwork.
Designed for hunting, camping, bushcraft, outdoor use, and collecting, this knife is best suited to someone who appreciates practical blades but wants something visually different from the usual wood-handled hunting knife.
Supplied with a certificate of authenticity. Regular application of suitable blade oil is recommended to protect the steel and preserve its appearance over time.
