Grand Bowie Knife No. 2520 is built around presence.

At 400 mm overall, with a substantial 260 mm blade, this is a full-size Bowie that immediately stands apart through scale, proportion, and visual impact. The 50 mm wide, 4 mm thick blade is crafted from VCV 150 tool steel and hardened to 58 HRC, giving the knife the strength and durability expected from a serious outdoor blade.

Its surface is both brushed and bronzed, creating a darker, more refined finish that gives the steel depth and character without hiding its purposeful form. The result is a blade that feels rugged, mature, and unmistakably individual.

The handle is made from Zebrano wood, selected for its naturally dramatic striped grain. Brass rivets introduce warm metallic accents and create a strong visual connection with the bronzed blade, giving the entire knife a coherent, almost heritage-inspired appearance.

With a weight of 574 g, the knife feels substantial and authoritative in the hand. This is not a discreet everyday blade, but a piece designed to make an impression — whether used outdoors, displayed in a collection, or given as a memorable premium gift.

Each knife is individually made and finished by hand, meaning that the grain of the wood, tone of the bronzed steel, and final surface character ensure that serial number 2520 remains truly unique.

The knife is paired with a custom handcrafted sheath made from dyed cowhide box leather, carefully fitted to protect the long blade and complete the traditional presentation.

Designed for hunting, camping, bushcraft, outdoor use, and collecting, this Bowie combines practical strength with unmistakable collector appeal. Its size, materials, and visual balance make it a true statement piece for anyone who values traditional knife-making and bold handcrafted design.

Supplied with a certificate of authenticity. Regular application of suitable blade oil is recommended to protect the steel and preserve its finish over time.

Frequently asked questions

Are your products made of stainless steel?

Some of our knives are made of stainless steel, while others are made of carbon steel, which requires a little more care. If you have a carbon steel knife, always clean it, dry it and, if possible, coat it with a neutral oil to prevent corrosion.
